Saturday Brunch at the Millennium Hotel is a surprising occasion.
Millennium hotel is in the Al Saad area of Doha, a well known residential area and usually full of traffic which therefore is an area I do not tend to frequent unless I have to.
However on a Saturday, traffic is not too bad around there, and thought I would give this brunch a try.
Priced at QAR 180 per adult, with children under 12 at half price, and kids under six are free. It has a very friendly and tranquil atmosphere with guitarist playing gentle music in the background.
There are too many items to list but you are bound to find several you relish. Start with a fine range of cheese’s and breads, , then choose from a cold salad bar and a vast mix of appetisers and soups.
There is an extensive hot cooked dishes from traditional Italian lamb and rice, to chicken, fish and beef. Lamb chops are delicious and if you like Polenta there is a delicious plate available.
Lots of dessert choices, including a lovely recipe of Um Ali with almonds, fresh fruit platters, chocolate fountains and they even have ice cream and popcorn for the youngsters! There is also an area in the corner for kids under 6 so that adults can have some peace and conversation.
However, the highlight of Cosmo Restaurant Italian Brunch is the live cooking station, where you can treat yourself to a gourmet pizza or pasta.
I would highly recommend the Saturday brunch and especially so if you have a voucher such as the Entertainer or voucher club which makes this really good value for money.
