Perhaps this year its the time for the Williams sisters time to shine?
The actual facilities have come on leaps and bounds since I started going in 2006, and it is much better organised and more professional though their are no more free tickets its still a relatively cheap day out considering the quality of the tennis you will be watching (expect to pay 30-100 QAR depending on where you sit for the opening games and double that for the semis and final).
During the tournament their is many activities for children and spectators so even if you get bored of the tennis walking around the complex is great fun…
This years tournament will take place at the International Tennis and Squash complex in Doha, Qatar from 23 February to 1 March. Be sure to go there and make the most of it and make it a family day out, though be warned due to the non seat allocation it can be difficult finding seats next to one another…
