So after last weeks take me back Tuesday, I decided to continue with my trip to Indonesia, where I went from Jakarta to Bali…

Welcome to Bali..

Welcome to Bali..

I was staying in the Kayana Villa, which was a beautiful resort and very relaxing, though it was more geared for couples, I needed a break from the hustle and bustle of Jakarta and found it in this place and the price was very reasonable around 160 USD a night for my own private villa with pool and staying in Seminyak was a bonus as the area was great for little eateries and nice places to hang out.

It was extremely humid when I went in February and be sure to be hydrated at all times…

In terms of touristy things to do in Bali, one of the most famous places to go is Padangtegal Mandala Wisata Wanara Wana Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary where you get to very close quarters to the monkeys…

Thirsty? As I said its Humid!

The highlight of my trip was a dinner at Ju-Ma-Na, which is a restaurant at the Banyan Tree Resort.

Having dined in several premium restaurants throughout the world, I was most impressed with Ju Ma Na.

Set in a stunning backdrop of the ocean over a clifftop, the Ju Ma Na is a modern and chic venue, offering one of the best dining experience in Bali.

Unlike other fine dining restaurants, the decorations are not over-pretentious, and the staff has a very relaxed, friendly, welcoming attitude and yet most professional. You don’t get the feeling that you have to behave in a certain way, just because you are eating in such a nice restaurant, and you never feel you are ‘under-dressed’. (No shorts or flipflops though!) The whole experience is relaxing, partly because you can watch and hear the sea from where you eat…

The menu is not vast, however it does not lead to any lapse in quality because the dishes they have are of exceptional quality and are presented beautifully..

I would strongly recommend going to the Ju Ma Na around the evening time to watch the sunset and after dinner the best bit of the whole restaurant…
